Behavioral/ Cultural Assemblies on Early Dismissal Days

Objective: As a result of this Web Quest participants will be able to identify and plan for half day assemblies as well as follow up activities that address behavioral/ cultural concepts by completing the assemblies planning sheet and participating in discussion. Use this information to increase attendance, build school community and impact positive behavior by planning school-wide assemblies on early dismissal days. We combined efforts of the PBIS team and Special Areas team to provide assemblies and reflection time school wide. See how we were able to share ideas of team work, goal setting, resilience and kindness during assemblies provided on scheduled early dismissal days.
